Scope

What this policy covers

This policy covers SHAER as an active software product: the public site, authenticated dashboard, account flows, API usage, routing events, billing, and operational security layers.

It is written for a real platform that manages accounts, sessions, API keys, domains, analytics, and subscription changes.

Accounts

Account and security data

SHAER may process account email, username, password-derived authentication data, workspace information, recovery methods, security settings, and session references.

This data is used to secure the service, maintain account continuity, support recovery, and administer access.

Identity and workspace data
Recovery and security settings
Session continuity and authentication
Two-factor and backup-code state when enabled

Product operations

Links, domains, routing, and analytics

SHAER processes the links you create, their destinations, custom slugs, state changes, optional metadata, domain bindings, expiry settings, and routing history needed to operate the product.

SHAER also processes routing activity and lightweight analytics summaries so the dashboard, API, and public inspection pages reflect current link state.

Processors

How data may be shared

SHAER shares data only when necessary to operate the service, including with infrastructure, payment, authentication, or security providers.

Data may also be disclosed when required by law, valid process, or a security response.

Retention

Retention and rights

SHAER retains data only for as long as needed for service operation, security, billing continuity, support, or legal compliance.

You can request access, correction, or deletion subject to legal, security, fraud-prevention, and billing-retention requirements.
